On May 16th, 2025, Nomi Network hosted the See Her Thrive Celebration—a milestone event honoring 15 years of fighting human trafficking and celebrating the thousands of women and girls whose lives have been transformed through our programs.
Held in honor of our anniversary, this morning celebration brought together longtime supporters, partners, and new allies to reflect on our journey, recognize powerful changemakers, and share our bold vision for the future.
Reflecting on the Journey—and Looking Ahead
Nomi Network’s Co-Founder and President, Diana Mao, joined journalist Del Irani in a powerful conversation reflecting on the evolution of Nomi Network’s mission to end human trafficking. From humble beginnings to becoming a global nonprofit empowering women and girls across India, Cambodia, and the U.S., Diana shared insights into our program’s exponential growth, our response to current global trafficking challenges, and where we’re headed next.

Valerie Skinner – Abolitionist Award
Valerie Skinner, Board Chair of the Holloway Foundation, was recognized for her pivotal role in launching Nomi Network’s Dallas Program, which serves survivors and vulnerable women. Her unique philanthropic approach—centered on humility, community, and action—has laid the foundation for meaningful impact in the U.S.
