Wendy Bridges is the Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Corporate Responsibility for Comerica Incorporated and Comerica Bank. Bridges also serves as the Head Chief of Staff to the Chairman, President and CEO.
Comerica established a new Office of Corporate Responsibility in November 2021 and appointed Bridges to oversee it. As such, Bridges is responsible for Comerica’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets and disclosures, initiatives – including chairing its ESG Council – and strategy to delivery on its ESG Platform to 1) provide access to capital focused on underserved communities, women, minorities and small business; 2) promote a diverse, inclusive and equitable workforce; 3) invest in financial education for underserved communities; 4) address climate change; and 5) collaborate with Comerica’s lines of business to enhance ESG-related product and service solutions.

Prior to joining Comerica in 2008, Bridges served as the Director of Media Relations for Baylor Health Care System (known today at Baylor Scott & White Health System), a nationally recognized health care provider operating hospitals, surgery centers and other medical facilities throughout Texas. Her 12 years with Baylor Health Care System included a variety of public relations positions of increasing scope and responsibility.
Bridges earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in public relations.
She is an active member in the North Texas community, serving on the boards of NOMI Network and Downtown Dallas Inc., on the Maura Women Helping Women Awards Selection Committee of the Texas Women’s Foundation and as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dallas. Bridges and her husband, Brad, have one daughter, Olivia.
