Her Story: Aashvi
My name is Aashvi, I live in North Taldi, India and I have two little boys. In my village, most girls don’t finish their education or earn money on their own. With one in four girls being forced into marriage before the age of 18, the expectation is we care for our household and husband only. In my village, this is the norm. My husband doesn’t want me to work outside the home. But deep down, I know I’m capable of so much more. My dream’s always been to start a business and create a different future for myself.
